Bruno

The latest version of our Bruno has been further developed and perfected. Thanks to its innovative design, you can configure it for a wide range of applications. For example, with high-quality geared hub gears, chain or belt, as a minimalist urban bike or fully equipped with every comfort such as a pannier rack, hub dynamo light system, front basket, mudguard, etc.

We don’t want to brag (of course not!), but our Bruno is really good. It combines typical German and Swiss virtues such as precision, quality, reliability and functionality with a very elegant silhouette. And thanks to the extremely high-quality, triple-butted Columbus steel frame, Bruno rides smoothly yet agilely!

Technical data

Frame

High-quality, triple-butted Columbus CrMo frame, with eyelets for mudguards and pannier rack, belt opening (Gates Carbon Drive) and eccentric bottom bracket. All cables are routed internally (except for Bruno with rim brakes, where the rear brake cable is routed externally, as shown in the configurator). The frame is burnished before it is powder-coated. The frames are approved for a system weight of 110 kg (but can of course withstand much more, the tests are simply too expensive for us).

Weight

Our high-quality Columbus steel frames weigh just 2.6 to 2.9 kg. We achieve this because we use butted tubes. This has two advantages: We save weight and at the same time it rides smoother (in contrast to a stiff aluminum frame). Depending on the configuration, a finished bike weighs around 12 – 14.8 kg. 12kg would be a basic bike with 7 gears and mudguards, 14.8kg a bike with a hub dynamo, lighting system and pannier rack.
