Weight

Our high-quality Columbus steel frames weigh just 2.6 to 2.9 kg. We achieve this because we use butted tubes. This has two advantages: We save weight and at the same time it rides smoother (in contrast to a stiff aluminum frame). Depending on the configuration, a finished bike weighs around 12 – 14.8 kg. 12kg would be a basic bike with 7 gears and mudguards, 14.8kg a bike with a hub dynamo, lighting system and pannier rack.

Frame

High-quality, triple-butted Columbus CrMo frame, with eyelets for mudguards and pannier rack and eccentric bottom bracket mount. All cables are routed internally. It has an opening for a toothed belt (e.g. Gates Carbon Drive). Unique: The frame is burnished, which offers a high level of rust protection.
